Call to Worship

If someone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but refuses to help—how can the love of God dwell in a person like that?  Little children, let’s not love with words or speech but with action and truth. This is how we will know that we belong to the truth and reassure our hearts in God’s presence. — 1 John 3:17 ceb

Reconciliation with God

Come now, and let’s settle this, says the Lord.  Though your sins are like scarlet, they will be white as snow.  If they are red as crimson, they will become like wool. — Isaiah 1:18 ceb

… In Christ you are forgiven.

R Thanks be to God!

♫   Change My Heart, O God (lyrics)

Sharing the Peace

The peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

R And also with you.

The Offering

God will generously provide all you need.  Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. — 2 Corinthians 9:8 ceb

Prayers of the People and the Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven: Hallowed be thy name.  Thy kingdom come.  Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us.  And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil;  For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
